This is a new model created from the desire to have a versatile 2+1 board that “paddles like a longboard, rides like a short board”
Longboarders wanting a smaller board to manage in bigger surf, or older Surfers wanting a step up for paddling in currents will have their surfing fire re-ignited with this thing!
This board will blow you away with its turning ability, it feels so stable and locked in through a turn due to its refined rails and pin tail that you can keep pushing harder and harder through each turn.
When designing this board we wanted a board to surf the points when it gets too big for a log but what we got is a board that could almost replace every other board for the traditional or longboard rider.

July 4, 2021 at 6:30 pmHi Dave, loving the 6’6 GM. Thinking of going a little smaller. Will the design still work if Its shrunk down to a 6’2?

December 29, 2012 at 11:32 amHere is an email from Ben who was stoked with his GM;
Hi guys
Just wanted to let you know how stoked I am with my new board!! It is the 7’2′ GM with the volane coat, maroon fabric inlay, etc. I have since seen it in the smorgasboarder mag and have had someone ask me about it!
Thanks alot for your great service Justin! You are a straight up guy! Bought the board on Monday and received it up in Noosa on Wednesday. Really appreciated your no bullshit approach. It’s abit of a gamble buying a board unseen, but I had a gut feel about it and your advice was spot on!
Anyways, I am loving the board. Have surfed in a few different spots up in Noosa in a variety of conditions over the past 10 days.
It is so easy to get in early and track down the line. It just loves abit of wall! Having not surfed a single fin before I am enjoying the challenge in changing my thinking about turns and how to surf the wave. Am enjoying just trying to flow and get in the right spot on the wave. I am so pumped to get up early and surf!! The board has given me my stoke back!!
Cheers,
Ben.

October 24, 2012 at 7:37 pmThe GM would have to be the Smoothest board i have ridden for a long time! It has flow and style and draws beautiful lines without being stuck on track like the boards from the seventies…
